Prenatal and Postnatal Physiotherapy in Kampala

Every mother deserves expert care before and after delivery. A complete, multidisciplinary programme for pregnancy, birth preparation and recovery.

Available at our Ntinda clinic and as home visits across Kampala

Pregnancy is one of the most transformative experiences a woman will go through. Alongside the joy comes real physical and emotional strain: back pain, pelvic weakness, fatigue, posture changes, anxiety, and a body that needs time and support to heal.

At Teamwork Physiotherapy Centre International we believe recovery should not be left to chance. Our prenatal and postnatal rehabilitation programme is compassionate, evidence-based and holistic, delivered by physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, nutritionists and yoga specialists working together.

During pregnancy, we help you

  • Manage lower back and pelvic pain safely with gentle exercise, posture strategies and pain relief techniques
  • Strengthen your core and pelvic floor for labour, with exercises tailored to each trimester
  • Improve posture, breathing and circulation: safe sitting, standing and lifting, swelling reduction and relaxation
  • Prepare body and mind for childbirth through prenatal yoga for flexibility, relaxation and emotional balance
  • Learn pain relief and relaxation strategies: breathing control, guided stretching and labour preparation

After delivery, we support your recovery

  • Rebuild pelvic floor muscles and bladder control
  • Restore core stability and abdominal strength, including diastasis recti
  • Manage C-section scars with scar mobility techniques, gentle soft tissue therapy and movement retraining
  • Relearn safe posture for breastfeeding, carrying and baby care
